Groovy!!

Tire  Grooving has been around for a bunch of years in the off road racing people, but with the decrease in prices of grooving irons it almost appeared overnight in the 4 wheeling community , and now is the hot ticket for cheaply adding traction

 

Lets get some terms straight first

 

Grooving

Grooving is removing large chunks out of the tire using a grooving iron and going in a pattern

Siping

Siping is where you make small Razor blade size cuts along the tread blocks

Sipeing is done by a large machine or by hand with razor blades
